The Stooges, Dave Grohl's Sound City Players + More Added to SXSW

[consequenceofsound.net] The music portion of South by Southwest 2013 begins in just nine days, yet the Austin-based festival continues to expand the lineup.

According to Billboard, Dave Grohl’s Sound City Players will play at Stubb’s on Thursday, March 14th. Joining Grohl for the star-studded performance will be Stevie Nicks, John Fogerty, Rick Springfield, Corey Taylor, Alain Johannes, Rage Against the Machine’s Brad Wilk, Fear’s Lee Ving, and more. (Grohl is also this year’s keynote speaker.)

Other new additions to the official lineup include Iggy and the Stooges (who will play The Mohawk on Wed. March 13th), Kendrick Lamar, Iron & Wine, Devendra Banhart, Tenacious D, Ghostface Killah, Pusha T, Big K.R.I.T., Youth Lagoon, Mikal Cronin, Reggie Watts, Matthew E. White, FIDLAR, Rustie, Trash Talk, Parquet Courts, A Place to Bury Strangers, Ab-Soul, Diamond Rugs, Kids These Days, Nobunny, White Mystery, and more.
