Along with the announcement of their new album, The Soft Pack has also released its first single, “Saratoga,” full of the fast rhythms and surf-rocky lead guitar that helped to earn the band recognition back in ’09 with “Extinction.” Check out "Saratoga" below...
*A message from Clouder... "BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: our beloved singer, Eric, will be moving to NC in early August. WE ARE NOT BREAKING UP. however, this does mean that Clouder will no longer be playing a million shows a month in NYC. the good news is we are already working on our second album and, even with Eric in NC, we will be taking turns making trips to each other and we hope to record the next record this winter. in the meantime, we have a few really great shows coming up, so please check out these dates and, if you can make it out, come wish Eric luck and soak up the Clouder live experience once more. after this, our next NYC show will prob be in Oct for CMJ. until then:
sat 7/14: @Grand Victory w/Freshkills, Butchers & Bakers, KRVI
thurs 7/19: @Paper Box w/The Due Diligence, GunFight!
sat 7/28: @The Bell House w/Los Encantados, NO FUN, KNTRLR
fri 8/3: @Matchless w/The Suicide Dolls, The IOA Collective, White Bike
sat 8/4: @Rippers (Rockaway Beach) w/Friend Roulette, Blackout, Dead Stars, Huntronik, and Heliotropes
that's it! can't go wrong with any of those. we are gonna give these last shows every ounce of heart, soul, and energy we've got. hope to see you there : ) if not, there will still be plenty of Clouder magic to look forward to further down the line."
*A message from Velociraptor (featuring members of DZ Deathrays)... "Monday morning can be tough. Tougher than Bruce Willis. Here's the film clip for our new single 'Riot' to briefly distract you from responsibility / public transport and the ever-looming decision of whether you're gonna make that Espresso a single or a double. Party dogs unite."
