Quick Notes: Primus, Guided By Voices, Black Sabbath + More

*[pitchfork.com] Guided by Voices will also release a third album this year: The Bears for Lunch, out in November.

*[theprp.com] The Black Sabbath reunion breakdown between the band and drummer Bill Ward continues to spill out in public. A new statement posted HERE via Billward.com finds Ward responding to bassist Geezer Butler‘s recent statement.

In case you missed it, the band played the first show of this latest reunion run with drummer Tommy Clufetos earlier this weekend.

*[theprp.com] Baroness and Volbeat have been announced as the “final” two additions to Metallica‘s “Orion Music + More Festival“. The fest will go down at Bader Field in Atlantic City, NJ on June 23rd-24th and feature sets from Arctic Monkeys, Hot Snakes, Red Fang, The Sword and more. Further details can be found HERE.
