*[theprp.com] Work is nearly done on The Bronx‘s forthcoming album. The band recently tweeted that the “finishing touches” are being put on the self-titled effort—which for those keeping score at home will be their fourth eponymous release.
*[consequenceofsound.net] Brooklyn blues-rock duo She Keeps Bees (aka the “White Stripes in reverse”) perform a brand-new track entitled “Counter Charm” during a recent BreakThru Radio studio session. With chatter-y drums and a menacing grunge guitar groove, the track’s got charm in the way a disheveled hitchhiker on a deserted road might. The pair’s latest album, Dig On, is out now.
*[theprp.com] Witchcraft have signed with Nuclear Blast and are currently holed up in Fascination Street Studios with producer Jens Bogren(Amon Amarth, Soilwork). The band are tracking their new album which carries the working title of “Legend“. It will be their first with their re-tooled lineup which sees the addition of a new drummer and guitarists.
The extra guitarist comes as a result of band frontman Magnus Pelander stepping down from guitar duties to focus exclusively on his vocals. More details on the album are expected as things progress.
