[consequenceofsound.net] As previously reported, The Polyphonic Spree are in the midst of their first tour in four years. With their first leg of dates wrapping up in Dallas later tonight, the 21-member choral pop group has now scheduled a West coast jaunt for late March/early April. See the complete schedule just ahead. New Fumes, featuring former Spree member and Flaming Lips collaborator Daniel Huffman, will continue on as support.
In addition, a winner has been revealed for the fan-made video contest held for the band’s new single “What Would You Do?”. You can watch the clip from winner and Seattle resident Ben Rowe just below the tour itinerary. The song is currently available in MP3 and FLAC formats via Good Records Recordings, with ongoing pre-orders for limited edition color and regular 7″ vinyls due February 21st.
