*[theprp.com] Mastodon have booked the following UK headlining dates for February while support acts have yet to be revealed:

02/07 Glasgow, UK – Barrowlands
02/09 Norwich, UK – UEA
02/10 Birmingham, UK – HMV Institute
02/11 London, UK – O2 Academy Brixton

*[punknews.org] Vagrant Records has signed Southampton, England's Band of Skulls. The band will release the follow up to their debut album, Baby Darling Doll Face Honey via the label in 2012. The new album will be produced by Ian Davenport (Supergrass, Badly Drawn Boy) and mixed by Nick Launay (Grinderman, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Arcade Fire).



*Black Books' song "The Big Idea" was chosen for the Moving-Picture's Autumn Film Reel 2011 - the song works amazing w/ the Reel - Some really BIG films involved including Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows Pt 1&2, Watchmen, The Chronicles of Narnia, Clash of the Titans, Robin Hood, and X-Men to name a few. The Director's involved are Ridley Scott, Tim Burton, Guy Ritchie, and many other greats - check it out below...
