*The new solo album from Steven Wilson will be available on Kscope next week. Grace for Drowning is the second album released under Wilson’s own name, and builds on the artistic inroads he forged with 2009’s exceptionally well-received Insurgentes. A double album ('two 40-45 minute albums in the same package') Wilson has described it as "my biggest project to date".
The album will be released on CD, vinyl and download along with a Blu-ray edition of the album. The Blu-ray disc contains the album in 5.1 surround sound with accompanying video content. In addition to the video content, created by long-term collaborator Lasse Hoile, the Blu-ray disc also features bonus audio tracks, photo galleries, hand written notes and lyrics.
A trailer for the Blu-ray has just been added to the Grace for Drowning mini-site. The trailer features clips of the videos for the tracks Like Dust I Have Cleared From My Eye and Belle Du Jour which have not previously been seen and will only be available on the Blu-ray. Three other videos (for the tracks Remainder The Black Dog, Index and Postcard) are already available on the mini-site.
Check the Grace For Drowning mini-site for pre-order links for all editions of the album including the digital editions which are now available to pre-order from iTunes. This digital edition features two bonus tracks.
An 8 minute edit of the track Raider II is now streaming on the Metal Hammer website (UK only) and on the Grace For Drowning mini-site.

Variations On A Dream was the band’s third studio album and was originally released in 2004 on the Cyclops label. Bruce has re-mixed and re-mastered the album for this Kscope edition. Variations On A Dream is now available to pre-order from the Kscope store. It follows the recent reissue of the band's 2005 album, 10 Stories Down. A video of Bruce and Steve from TPT discussing 10 Stories Down is also now online.
