Quick Notes: The Evens, Primus, Hella, Me You Us Them + More

*[punknews.org] Having taken some time off to raise a child, Ian Mackaye and Amy Farina have announced plans to enter Inner Ear Studios to record a new Evens single. We'll keep you updated as more details surface. The band last released Get Evens in 2006. [ed note: one of our all time favorite songs happen to come from their previous album, see below.]

*[theprp.com] Primus are offering a live version of their track “Those Damned Blue Collar Tweakers” as a bonus track with the iTunes pre-order of their new album “Green Naugahyde“. The rendition of the song is taken from a July 13th, 2011 London, England show. “Green Naugahyde” will see a September 13th release date through ATO Records/Prawn Song Records.

*[theprp.com] Hella‘s entire new album “Tripper” is currently available for streaming online through Bandcamp. “Tripper” will see a release next Tuesday, August 30th, through Sargent House.

*Me You Us Them recently performed "As Of Now" on Breakthru Radio TV. The song appears on last year's exceptional debut Post Data, and the video captures the guys explosive live energy. Check it out below, and if you live in the Boston/NY areas, don't forget to check them on September 1st (Great Scott, Boston) and September 2nd (Cameo Gallery, Brooklyn).
