Quick Notes: Deftones, Foo Fighters, The Boxing Lesson

*[theprp.com] The Deftones are preparing a 180 gram vinyl pressing of their 1995 debut, “Adrenaline“, for a June 14th release date.

*[FMQB.com] The Foo Fighters played fundraisers for victims of the Australian floods and New Zealand earthquakes in March, and now the concert promoters have announced that those two gigs raised more than $1 million for the relief effort. Michael Gudinski's Frontier Touring Company organized and promoted the shows, which took place March 22 at Auckland Town Hall and March 27 at the Riverstage in Brisbane. Gudinski said in a statement: "The Foo Fighters were determined to help New Zealand and Australia in the aftermath of these terrible disasters. The overwhelming success of the concerts and the more than $1 million raised across the two countries shows how much the Foos care for the people of Australia and New Zealand and they displayed this by staging two of the more memorable rock shows in recent times."

*The Boxing Lesson have released a new EP entitled Muerta, featuring a remastered version of the title track that originally appeared on the band's full length Wild Streaks & Windy Days. The EP also contains three other tracks for your enjoyment. Check it out HERE and stream below...
