Munroe Effect Ready "Ultraviolenceland" + Post Videos

Munroe Effect's debut full length album Ultraviolenceland will be coming out on Deadplanet Records, on May 30th.

The band previously released an EP and 7" on Function Records (Hymns, These Monsters, Shield Your Eyes) in 2009 and now their debut album Ultraviolenceland is ready to rock.

Munroe Effect just finished a tour in February as well as a couple of viral videos released to promote the album (album teaser & live video), with a second live video scheduled for release April 11th. Previously the band has toured and played with bands such as Gay for Johnny Depp, Oceansize, ASIWYFA, Future of the Left, Pulled Apart by Horses, Blakfish & Shapes and have a May tour being finalized over the next few days.

"with a touch of At The Drive-In, some gorgeous sonic textures and aching vocals, this Portsmouth mob demand your attention from the off." - Kerrang!

"all over the place - in a good way - with the odd, math-rock time signature mix-up pushing them away from local band mediocrity, and attention-grabbing vocals that drift between melodies and high-pitched screaming." - Rock Sound
