The Mylene Sheath Records have posted their March newsletter, highlights include...
*One last newsletter plug for this years SXSW Sheathcase =) We'll have lots of limited goodies for sale at the merch table including 19" x 25" screen printed posters printed by Drew Binkley (from The Ascent of Everest) at Grand Palace Silkscreen. Check out their website HERE and keep them in mind for screen printing needs =) We'll be using the same design as above, done by N. Shumaker / Northern Lights Industries. Nate just had to make a couple slight alterations to accommodate the bigger size and make sure it would work for a screen printed job. These will be limited to 50 hand numbered copies and available only at the showcase that night. We'll also have some old out of print records we're selling as well as music from all of the bands rocking hard that night =)
Doors are at 7:30 and the nice peeps at Valhalla told us to tell everyone to get there early and not leave because you can't get back in if you leave after it reaches capacity. Just sayin!

*Just a quick update on the Eksi Ekso pre-order front - 28 Page Hardcover Book Editions have arrived from the plant and all pre-orders that didn't include vinyl will be shipping out this week. Cannot explain how awesome these books turned out, if you pre-ordered one, you are NOT going to be disappointed! As for the vinyl edition, lacquers have been cut and we're expecting test presses before we leave for Austin. This puts us right on schedule to have these shipped out to everyone in early April =) If you missed out on any of the pre-order shenanigans - you can check out the original pre-order newsletter HERE to learn more about the album and different pre-order options =) If you're more into the digital side of things, this beast will be available from all DSP's starting on 3/15 =) Also, if you prefer shopping for your stuff at record stores instead of in outdated and amateurish web-stores, you will be able to find the Hardcover book edition w/CD at your favorite local record store on 3/15 as well =) Thanks to everyone that has already pre-ordered, we only have three of the brown/red edition (limited to 100) left, and I think we're down to about 20 or so of the baby blue (also limited to 100). *Just in case you missed last months newsletter... we'll be reissuing the brilliant 2005 debut EP by Kansas City's Actors & Actresses in April on CD, followed very shortly after that by a deluxe vinyl reissue. We'll start taking pre-orders for both formats in early April and it will be good. For those of you unfamiliar with the album, you can stream or purchase the album on the bands Bandcamp page, located right HERE. And if you're a dedicated iTuner, the album is readily available on there or any other DSP such as Amazon or eMusic or any other one you wanna check. So just a heads up for everyone that this pre-order will be going down in early April like WHOA! Flip some of those crappy records you never listen to on ebay and cash them into gold like this record!
