*[theprp.com] Doomriders and Sweet Cobra look to have a new 7″ Devo-themed split in the works. According to a recent interview with Crustcake.com, the effort will see Doomriders cover Devo‘s “Girl You Want” while Sweet Cobra will tackle the laters “Gates Of Steel“.
Doomriders tracked their contribution with Kurt Ballou of Converge fame; while Sweet Cobra enlisted Allen Epley and Eric Abert of The Life And Times for the production duties on their track. The effort will see a release in the coming months through Hawthorne Street Records.
