[consequenceofsound.net] So who had Jack White and/or Jack White-related project in the Conan O’Brien’s first musical guest pool? Of course, the odds must have been awful considering the White Stripes/Raconteurs/Dead Weather mastermind is totally like Coco’s BFF, having played the late night talker’s previous shows a bunch of different times — including his final Late Night one. Plus, White’s Third Man Records studio hosted Conan’s traveling tour over the summer and [the] two even released a live album together.
But, yeah, congrats regardless. Because if you picked Uncle Jack to be the first musical guests for O’Brien’s forthcoming TBS show Conan, then you were correct! According to Yahoo (via RIOB), White — in some shape or form — will play the show’s premiere on November 8th.
Also set to share their musical talents on Conan’s first week are the reunited Soundgarden (Tuesday) and super group Fistful of Mercy (Wednesday). Dude knows how to bring it.
