1. Tall Ships pre-order, Europe and Christmas Tour dates

After supporting Maps And Atlases on their UK tour this week, Tall Ships have a couple of weeks at home before they set sail for Europe with 65 Days of Static (dates up HERE). Before then, however, there's the small matter of their new EP, which is now available to pre-order with an exclusive, new t-shirt design. Get it HERE.
The band have also been confirmed to headline the annual Big Scary Monsters Christmas Tour, supported by the wonderful Tangled Hair (ex-Colour, for anyone out of the loop). The dates for your diary are...

2. Mimas and Dad Rocks! new releases and tour

Our favourite Danes touch down in the UK next week for an action-packed few days. Dad Rocks! (AKA Snaevar, Mimas vocalist and guitarist) arrives first for two shows in London, supporting Little Mammoth (Matt from Noah And The Whale's new band) at The Windmill on Monday, then playing a free show at the Old Blue Last with the brilliant Ute, Suffer Like G Did and My First Tooth. The rest of Mimas then arrive and play the following shows...

Mimas new album, 'Lifejackets', is now available to pre-order on 12" vinyl and CD HERE. It'll also be on sale at all of the above dates.
Meanwhile, Dad Rocks! has just finished recording an EP of four BSM covers, as voted for by you. The results of which will be made available for free download soon. Keep an eye on our website for updates.

3. Other business

Shapes will be recording their debut album next month. Look out for some very exciting news about that coming soon... Bad Books, the new band featuring Kevin Devine and members of Manchester Orchestra, release their self-titled album in the States soon, with their East Coast dates (including an appearance at CMJ in New York) selling out fast... Hold Your Horse Is will be recording a new single at the end of this month and hitting the road again in November. If you're a promoter and fancy booking them, get in touch...
