A message from Violent Soho...
"It was announced today that 30 Seconds to Mars have postponed a string of shows across middle America and Canada that we were also due to be playing with them. This obviously means for us that we will not be playing these shows either. The shows canceled are all of the dates of the tour that are happening from Worcester, MA, onwards. The shows 30 Seconds to Mars have postponed are listed below:
Sept 10th - Worcester, MA @ The Palladium
Sept 11th - Clifton Park, NY @ Northern Lights
Sept 13th - Niagra, NY @ Rapids Theatre
Sept 14th - Pittsburgh, PA @ Club Zoo
Sept 16th - Minneapolis, MN @ First Avenue
Sept 17th - Fargo, ND @ Playmakers
The dates listed for the tour leading up to these shows will still be going ahead. We are sorry and are very disappointed to not be able to play these shows. Obviously, this all is completely out of our control.
Also, because of all this, the brief run of headline dates along the West Coast that we had booked for immediately after these shows have now also been postponed. Unfortunately, 30 Seconds to Mars' decision to put off this large chunk of shows has left us severely out of pocket and in a position where we have no choice but to postpone these dates till a more appropriate time. It saddens us to have to cancel these dates as well, but in reality we don't have much choice in the matter here. We will be rescheduling shows in these areas as soon as we can. Those dates are listed below:
Sept 23rd - Seattle, WA @ The High Dive
Sept 26th - Portland, OR @ Doug Fir Lounge
Sept 28th - San Francisco, CA @ Bottom Of The Hill
Sept 29th - Los Angeles, CA @ Bootleg Theatre
It's very disappointing for us to have to cancel these dates. We will most definitely be rescheduling shows in these areas in the near future."
