Grand Atlantic Post Update

Australia's Grand Atlantic have posted an update on their Myspace blog regarding everything the band has been up and what we can expect in the near future...

"Here at GA Headquarters things have been a bit quiet on the gig front the past few weeks but that doesn't mean that we've been slacking off... We had a great time touring Japan and also sharing the stage with the fantastic Black Cab in Melbourne and Brisbane. Thanks everyone for coming out to the shows and hanging out with us.
The big news is that we've started work on album number 3! All hands are on deck as we are busy writing and rehearsing the new material in anticipation of heading back into the studio. At this stage we're looking at starting recording about November. Plans are also underway for our next tour of the U.S.A. We'll keep you posted as more info comes to hand...

We're also pretty chuffed to be sharing the stage with The Stress Of Leisure as they launch their 3rd album at the Zoo on the 20th August. It will probably be our last show for a while as we concentrate all our energies towards finishing the record. Come out and hear the new tunes we've got up our sleeves and tell us what you think!!!

Lastly, we're excited to announce that we're releasing a split 7 inch in the US with our friends at Ripple Music. The song is "Used To Be The Sensitive Type" with our friends Sky Parade on the other side. We should have copies pretty soon so we'll let you know... mmmm... vinyl!!!"
