Dangerbird Records are excited to unveil a series of rehearsal videos surrounding Minus the Bear's latest album, OMNI, giving fans a behind the scenes look at this exciting new album. Shot in 10 parts, the videos detail everything from the band's love of their home town Seattle (Part 3), the music they were listening to while recording the record (Part 2), and their experience working with a new producer for the first time in years (Part 6).
The first 8 of 10 parts of the OMNI Rehearsal Videos may be viewed HERE. Parts 9 and 10 coming soon.
For some live performance footage, head over to Baeble Music, where they are streaming the bands very intimate surprise New York City show May 3rd at Bowery Electric in full.
Still not satisfied? Minus the Bear were also recent guests on Jimmy Kimmel Live, performing both "My Time" [below] and "Hold Me Down".
Minus the Bear continue to tour in support of OMNI with dates across the United States, Canada, and Europe scheduled for the coming months including appearances at Lollapalooza and the Voodoo Music Festival. Tour dates below.
OMNI debuted in the top 50 of the Billboard 200 and has won critical acclaim for their leap forward as songwriters with Paste describing OMNI as "the group's most explosive record since its 2002 debut."
"With tighter guitar interplay and a sparser atmosphere, OMNI drifts in an immaculate vacuum of dark-yet-catchy '80s prog and new wave, a form of mathy, sultry pop perfectly suited to stargazing and/or zero-gravity sex... [Minus the Bear] seem focused on crafting the perfect album to launch them into another dimension entirely - and OMNI, with it's brainy intricacy and adventurous heart, may just be that spaceship." - Alternative Press (4.5 out of 5 stars)
