Quick Notes: Failure, Torche, ISIS, Stone Temple Pilots, and more

*[theprp.com] A behind the scenes video detailing the forthcoming vinyl reissue of Failure’sFantastic Planet” has been made available online and can be found below. The video features interviews and insight with former members of the band along with the likes of Billy Howerdel (A Perfect Circle, Ashes Divide) and Dean DeLeo (Stone Temple Pilots). “Fantastic Planet” will arrive on double vinyl on June 08th through Warner Bros. Records.



*Torche and Boris‘ upcoming split release together “Chapter Ahead Being Fake” has been bumped back to a July 13th release date through Hydra Head. The effort will feature Torche’s “King Beef” and Boris‘ “Luna“.

*Isis have posted an extensive update online detailing their future musical plans following the completion of their swan song “Final Transmission Tour“. You can find the entire update over at their Blogspot.

*Rage Against The Machine is leading a boycott of the state of Arizona over its controversial new immigration law. Frontman Zack de la Rocha has founded "The Sound Strike," a group of artists protesting the law. Cypress Hill, Kanye West, Rise Against, Ozomatli, Sonic Youth, Tenacious D, Serj Tankian and Massive Attack are among the acts who have signed on at thesoundstrike.net.
