[theprp.com] Far guitarist Shaun Lopez has revealed that he is currently overseeing the mixing of some Deftones b-side tracks for a future release. The band previously worked with Lopez on their 2006 outing, “Saturday Night Wrist“. No word yet on when or where the songs in question will surface. The Deftones will release their new album “Diamond Eyes” through Warner on May 04th.
Lopez has commented on his ongoing mixing sessions for three Deftones b-side tracks. Speaking via Twitter, he offered the following:
“Crash course in mixing 3 tunes near completion… 10 hours later. Deftones are very good at covering a broad range of tunes for sure.”
