In anticipation for their live CD/DVD release, Birds of Tokyo have posted the first track from the album available for streaming on their Myspace page. Here's what the band had to say...
"BROKEN BONES in BROKEN STRINGS:
So, with only 2-weeks before the 'Broken Strings' album & live DVD will hit shelves, we thought it fitting to upload the "Broken Bones" version to our Myspace player.
Recorded over the Enmore Theatre and Melbourne Town Hall shows of November 2009, the Broken Strings album will be released as a double CD featuring 18-songs. In true Birds form, we're also releasing this in a limited edition digipak - only available for a short time.
The DVD follows the band from their rehearsals in Perth right through to their final show of the tour at the Melbourne Town Hall and features 17-songs as well as time spent with the band members and composer Anthony Cormican. Head to our video page now for a little taste...
