Birds of Tokyo were very happy to be invited to play the HMV NEW MUSIC FESTIVAL taking place in London this February. With 3 bands per night over 6 venues in London, the HMV New Music Festival will showcase the most exciting artists for 2010 from the UK and abroad.

So the 'Broken Strings' CD and DVD are both in production and set to be available in stores on Friday 5th February 2010. Those of you whom purchased at the shows and from the bands website will receive the album a few days earlier. The track listing for the CD features every song from the tour (list below) which was more that we could fit on one CD. ----STUDIO RECORD #3----
With pre-production finished in Perth prior to Christmas BIRDS OF TOKYO are heading to the studio today, January 4th, to begin their third studio album. We can't divulge too much information, but can confirm that the Birds are working very closely with Scott Horscroft (Silverchair, The Presets, Sleepy Jackson, The Panics) and will be spending the better part of the next 3-months abroad.
