Biffy Clyro’s new single The Captain will finally be released in the shops on Monday. The track, which will be available to download from Sunday is the third single to be taken from Biffy’s fifth studio album ‘Only Revolutions’.
The single will be available on CD, 7” Vinyl, Picture Disc and download with three new tracks ‘Help Me Be Captain’, ‘Once An Empire’ and ‘Party On’ spread across the formats.

UK & IRELAND TOUR KICKS OFF TOMORROW!
The band finally hit the road this weekend on a 15 date tour set to take in England, Scotland, Wales, N. Ireland and Ireland.
With the release of the album ‘Only Revolutions’ still two weeks away, this will be the first chance for many fans to hear songs from the new LP. The tour kicks off at a sold out show in Southampton on Saturday, followed by gigs in Cardiff on Sunday and Brighton on Monday. Additional tickets for the Brighton show are now available and can be bought from Ticketmaster.com.
Joining the crew on the good-ship Biffy will be Atlanta’s Manchester Orchestra, (who the Biff will be touring with in the US in the new year) and Leeds’ Pulled Apart by Horses.

BIFFY ANNOUNCE AUSTRALIAN SHOWS!
The band also have just announced details of a return to Australia for three dates over the new year holidays.
The band will play the Pyramid Rock Festival on New Years Eve in Melbourne, with a second date in the city on the 2nd at Hi-Fi. The final date of the jaunt will see the Biff play The Metro Theatre in Sydney on the 3rd January.
