The Pineapple Thief's 3000 Days Now Shipping

The Pineapple Thief – 3000 Days - Now shipping from Kscope

In 1999 Bruce Soord decided to venture into his studio to try something alone. 3000 days, a full band and seven albums later, this is what you get….

Last year The Pineapple Thief launched the Kscope label with the critically acclaimed album, Tightly Unwound. While the album was many people’s introduction to the band they have actually spent the past ten years quietly building up a dedicated fan base across the globe, selling over 25,000 records and nurturing their ‘bittersweet’ progressive sound.

3000 Days is a collection of songs from their ten year history so far, lovingly re-mixed and re-mastered by Bruce Soord and Steve Kitch at the recently refurbished studio at TPT HQ, somewhere in deepest and darkest Somerset.

3000 Days will be in stores from August 24th (For US fans: September 29th or August 31st digitally) but any orders placed through the Kscope website are already shipping.

The Pineapple Thief will be on tour in Europe throughout 2009 as well as writing and recording their new studio album, currently scheduled for early 2010.

You can also check out the video for Shoot First here. The video was directed by Lasse Hoile best known for his work with Steven Wilson and Porcupine Tree.
