Twilight Singers have posted Greg Dulli's cover of the Doug Sahm song "You Was For Real," from the recently released 'Keep Your Soul: A Tribute to Doug Sahm'.
It also features the talents of Amy Farris (Vocals/Violin), Greg Leisz (Pedal Steel), Scott Ford (Bass) and Cully Symington (Drums).

The most forceful turns come courtesy of musicians who excel at off-road driving. Alejandro Escovedo gives "Too Little Too Late" an overwhelming reading and a sterling original arrangement that frames the song with his trademark rockin' string section. Greg Dulli, of the Twilight Singers and late of the Afghan Whigs, similarly invests "You Was For Real" with rolling thunder, ably abetted by Greg Leisz's steel guitar and Amy Farris' fiddle and vocals.
