I'd like to congratulate Sweethead on winning the initial "Get Familiar" readers poll. Look for many more features and news on them to come in the future! Comprised of Troy Van Leeuwen and Serrina Sims, with Norm Block and Eddie Nappi, Sweethead will release their debut album in early 2009, and tour in support of it.
I hope that everyone got to check out all the new artists featured, and hopefully found something they enjoy! The idea was never to put the bands into competition against each other, but rather just to give exposure and a reason to check out all the bands. Thanks to everyone who helped promote the poll, it wont be forgotten!
